Safari Asia Limited ("Safari Asia") has recently been made aware of unauthorized individual(s) or organisation(s) approaching potential investors and/or members of the public with fraudulent investment materials that bore our company name, logo, and references to our SFC licensing status purported to be issued by Safari Asia.

Further information available reveals that the perpetrator(s) is/are employing a counterfeit mobile application named "十八里金融" to carry out the fraudulent activities. This unauthorized app cannot be found on mainstream platforms such as the Hong Kong versions of Google Play, Apple Store, WeChat Mini Program, or Xiaohongshu. The fraudulent materials may be distributed through a closed network via a fake app store link shared with the targets of the perpetrator(s).

Safari Asia would like to clarify that it has not authorized any such investment materials and has not approached the public by any unofficial channels. Safari Asia has not launched any mobile application and will also not make use of any instant messaging applications for products promotion or investment advices. Clients are advised to pay extra attention to any suspicious invitations. If you received any investment materials from any unofficial channels purported to be issued by Safari Asia, you are advised to contact us directly for verification. Safari Asia will not accept any liability or be otherwise responsible for any loss, damage, or other matters relating to these unauthorized activities.

Safari Asia has reported the case to the SFC and the Hong Kong Police. If you have been approached by any unauthorized individual(s) or organisation(s) and/or provided with any suspicious investment materials purported to be issued by us, we recommend that you immediately report it to the relevant authorities, cease any communication with the perpetrators, contact us for verification, and not disclose any personal or financial information.
